DREAM Charter School is an incredible school in East Harlem. But it’s more than a school. In the poorest congressional district in the nation, 98% percent of it’s students are graduating high school.

This film, a collaboration with our friend Ben Quinn, uncovers the fundamental lessons taught in DREAM. The finding of your voice, the movement of your body, and the power of your advocacy. And does so using a poem crafted by its poetry class as read by their teacher, Ms. Barker.

It was created for their annual fundraising gala.
