DICK’S — Revision FC

It was a disastrous year for hurricanes in Florida and Texas as Hurricanes Irma and Harvey left a wake of destruction. Dick’s Sporting Goods and their foundation wanted to help those affected by the storm that year. So we scoured Florida and Houston for stories and found the story of Revision FC. A group of Congolese refugees unlikely brought together by soccer. They found a second home in Houston and the power of sport built a bond that even Hurricane Harvey couldn’t wash away.

As we do, we documented their story and at the end surprised them with a new locker room, gear and a financial donation to keep them together.

And shout out to our Swahili translator Horeb. Without him we wouldn’t have been able to make this film. He was vital to not only the language translation but the overall comfort of the boys and their families. Enjoy the case study.
